Knights Academy players represent Team UK

Five players from the Northants Knights Academy recently flew out to Amsterdam to take part in the 7v7 European Championship, representing Team UK.

Luke Brotherton, Ben Godfrey, Josh Haynes, Finn Bates and Sam Wincott-Thomas all pulled on the Team UK colours, competing against the likes of Amsterdam Crusaders, Finland's Team Revo and the Frankfurt Universe from Germany in front of top European scouts.

Despite not being at full strength, the team showcased great toughness and outstanding character, doing themselves and the Knights organisation proud.

Found by Emanuel Lewis, Kings of Europe 7v7 provides a platform for competition for European football players, delivering quality development competition and exposure.

A prime off-season training opportunity for all players, 7v7 sees athletes compete against other top players, improving their skills while being exposed to a range of colleges.

2022 season

Attention now turns to the 2022 season for the Knights Academy with the U19's competing in D2 Midlands, looking to defend their title, and the U16's competing in the North B Division.
