The Northants Knights are celebrating promotion to Division 1 of the BAFA National League but bowed out of the play-offs with a 35-0 defeat against SGS Bristol Apache.

The Knights finished the regular season and then progressed to the semi-finals with a narrow 30-26 victory against Essex Sabres.

But a final appearance wasn't to be, with the Apache coming out on top in the West Country, 35-0.

While it wasn't the result we would've hope for, there are lots of positives for the organisation to be proud of, and Division 1 beckons.
