Northants Knights continued their impressive form with a fine 40-0 victory at South Lincs Lightning, to earn a shot at the league title going into the final gameday.
In what was the seventh outing of the season in the BAFA Central East Division, the Knights notched up 40 points without reply against the Lightning, for a third shutout of the campaign.
Nick Rizzuto took the MVP with a scintillating display.
The final game of the season sees the Knights travel to take on a strong Nottingham Caesars outfit, knowing a win would tie the division 6-2.
