Match report: Knights Youth finish second in inaugural season

U16 gameday.jpeg

Northants Knights Youth finished a respectable second in their first ever season, in the BAFA U16 Midlands B Division.

The final U16 game day was a home tournament, with Rugby Rhinos, Bedford Blackhawks and Leicester Falcons being the visitors.

The first two games against the Rhinos and Blackhawks ended in defeat, losing narrowly 14-12 in the opener before a 20-14 reverse, respectively.

There was success in the final outing, though, as the Knights saw off the Falcons 41-14 to wrap up the season and secure second place.

Many players will now move up to our undefeated U19 team to continue their football career, and we wish them the best of luck!
