Northants Knights Youth maintained top spot in the BAFA U16 Midlands B Division, sitting at 6-1-1 for the season after gameday three.

In a trip to Rugby Rhinos, the Knights defeated Leicester Falcons 6-0 in the opening game with Antwone Hunt picking up the MVP award.

Game two, against Bedford Blackhawks, was tied at 18-18 with 12 minutes left on the clock when there was an unfortunate injury on the opposite field.

The decision was taken to end games for the day, meaning our final match against Rugby Rhinos was abandoned. Game MVP against Bedford was Matt Coggins.

We wish a speedy recovery to the injured player.

That leaves us sitting top of the division with a record of 6-1-1 going into our home tournament on 4 September.
