Northants Knights Youth experienced a mixed bag of results in tournament two of the 2022 schedule in the North B Division.

After a perfect 3-0-0 in the tournament one, the Knights were confident, and started tournament two well by beating Bedford Blackhawks 42-18.

The U16s couldn't keep the momentum going, though, and suffered a 34-13 reverse against Nuneaton Jaguars after a performance with multiple errors.

Injuries were picked up during the day and that meant we were left with Ironman football in game three, which resulted in 6-6 draw with hosts Tamworth Phoenix.

That meant the young Knights finished with a record of 1-1-1 on the day, leaving us 4-1-1 on the season and currently second in the North B division.

The focus is now on tournament three at Nuneaton in a couple of weeks, on 4 June.
