Match report: Back-to-back titles secured for Knights U19s

Northants Knights Juniors secured back-to-back titles in the BAFA D2 Midlands after going 5-0-0 for the season.

The U19s travelled to Lincolnshire with limited numbers to take on Black Country Vipers and hosts Lincolnshire Bombers, and it turned out to be a productive day.

Game one saw the Knights take on the Vipers.

However, with only 13 minutes of the game played, the unfortunate decision to call the game early due to injuries was taken, with the score 33-0 in favour of the Knights.

Onto game two against the hosting Bombers, and the Knights endured a tough start with some mental errors.

The ball eventually got rolling though and, despite Bombers getting a pick-six, the Knights were able to come away with a 50-6 victory.

That means the U19s are 5-0-0 on the season with one game remaining, before they head to the National Finals for BritBowl 2022.
