Sam Mindham signs pro contract with Munich Rangers

We're proud to announce that Northants Knights' Sam Mindham has signed a pro contract with German outfit Munich Rangers.

Chopper, as he is affectionately known, has represented the Knights for a number of years, developing within the team, and moves to Germany with our best wishes.

Knights head coach Wayne Gumbs said: "Samuel has been an integral part of the Knights throughout the associate process.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to have been able to coach him and watch him develop. His love for the game is infectious to those around him and it transfers into his playing.

"Samuel is an asset to any team that he plays for be it defense or special teams, he excels at what he does.

"Personally, I would like to thank him for all he has done at the Knights and I am sure everyone will wish him all the best for the future."

The 23-year-old follows in the footsteps of Courtney Etienne and Jaden Simmonds, signing pro contracts in Europe after developing their game with the Knights.
